Interesting but I don't see the point. Distributors are not interested in talking to you unless you own a major retail chain. They deal on a large level not on a small level.

I own a retail store but I would not be able to buy from them unless I bought more than a pallet. Actually, distributors are really only interested in filling space in warehouses to be sent to the warehouses stores. I could not even deal with those guys.

So... interesting and nice of you to round up the info but I don't see the use. Even a step after the big distributors only want to hear from you if you are intereted in buying a few cases. ^_^

If you are interested in local distribution and what stores have what, you can ask at the store. I know for sure at Toys R Us, you can have them check what their local stores inventories are AND find out what the warehouses numbers and pending shipment numbers are so you can see what to expect the stores to be receiving soon.

Tamagotchis don't tend to last long at the warehouses. They are sent out to the stores in 1-4 shipments and that is pretty much it. The warehouse will not be restocked. The store gets what it gets and it can not order more. Tamagotchi is a here today and gone tomorrow not to be restocked kind of thing. So get while the getting is good.
