Hi people!

My daughter has a tamagotchi, version 2 i think, anyway she has connected with a few friends. She is up to 5th generation, but as an experiment, we declined the matchmaker every time, now her tama is 25. How old do they go? and how can we get matchmaker back, i think she is getting bored with same one for so long and wants a baby.

Help would be appreciated!

Thanks

from a mum with 4 tama freeks!! (although only one has one at the moment!) lol

I'm not really sure, but I think as long as you take care of it it won't die for a while, but as it gets older it will need more attention.

*checks info that I gave* Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm right, it will just need more and more attention as it gets older, making it harder for it to stay alive, I guess.

I haven't heard of a set age that they can go to. i think it all depends on how well they are taken care of. eventually, her tama will have to go back to it's "home planet" (aka die). I am currently trying this same thing on a V3, but not that far yet, and tamadogg (another tamatalk member)had a keitai (different Japanese version) that just died and it was 99+2 years old (or 101, because the numbers don't go past 99)!

The matchmaker won't come back again since her tama turned into an old one. she will either have to find someone else with a V2 or V3 to have a baby with, or wait it out til the old one dies. I would say she can always reset it, but that would mean starting over from the very beginning. Generations, points, items, everything. I really recommend finding another tama to mate with.

Good Luck!

:) You can find another oldie to mate with your daughters tama and she will get a secret character who skips teen+child stage

Thank you so much guys!

My husband thinks my interest in these addictive wee things is odd to say the least!!
