It's very simple.

1. Make sure Number Lock is off. If it's on, turn it off by pressing NUM LOCK on the right hand side of your keyboard.

2. Press and hold one of the two ALT's on your keyboard. They're on the left and right sides of the space bar.

3. Now press 3 on the right hand side of your keyboard. It might also say "Pg Dn". Either way, press it.

4. Now let go of Alt and also of the 3. You should see a heart pop up.

Make sure no lights are lighting up on your keyboard, then you should see a ALT key on the left and right hold those and then also hold the 3 button with the Page down symbol at the bottom. Then a heart should appear.

You can have num lock on or off, doesn't matter, then you hit alt, and hit three while your hitting alt, then let go, and viola! You haves a heart!
