How do you get different tamagotchi characters?

Does it depend on the tamagotch pet you buy in stores? Or does is depend on how you raise them...?

i was hoping i could get a mametchi or mimitchi or a ninja, since i heard it was possible to get one... but i always get this fat ugly thing that looks like a chicken, not the green guy but some chicken looking blob with a beak... its getting boring, i thought there were different outcome possiblities dependin how you raise your pet, but now i am starting to wonder..

It does depend on how u raise it. To get a ninja you have to only let 2 hearts drop. To get a mimitchi or a mametchi you have to never let a heart drop.

But I warn you sometimes doing this may break your tamagotchi so if I were you I wouldn't do it it is a risk that it to risky to do unless if you really want to do it.
