How do I pause the tamagotchi?

How would I do that?

If you are talking about a V3 or V4.5, then it is the same, including all of the version within the "Connection" series.

To pause them, simply press down on the first two rubber button at the same time (A and B ). Then release. You character will show up on the screen, along with the word "PAUSE" under it. Hint: press down on the first button, then press down on the second button.

Also, help others help you by being more specific, as there are many versions of Tamagotchi out there and therefore, different methods of pausing. Good luck!
