What do you think of history? Not the boring class that you fall asleep during [i don't, but I have an amazing teacher] but the real thing. I find myself often fantasizing about living during the period of Tudor England. I want to be part of jousting, and lute playing, and wearing these beautiful gowns of velvet and golds, hunting, hawking. Seems so exciting. Also life threatening. Like every day there's new gossip and a new adventure to unfold.

Tell me what you think about history :3

I'm very interested in World War II. Not the battles fought, but more of what happened to the Jews. I love reading books on it. Fiction or not. I'm not a history buff or anything, though.

Oo, I'm liking those thoughts !

I'd love to know more about world history, but we mostly learn Canadian History here.

ahaa, but I'm the only one who thinks it's fascinating. :3 We don't have a lot of bloody events from the past or anything.

I like topics on the World Wars and the French Revolution best.

Unsurprisingly, they're also the topics I'm most knowledgeable in. :)

At the moment I'm a little obsessed with...History in general, really. Particularly Nazi Germany and the USSR (which I hardly know squat about but still). Yes, I tend to get rather morbid obsessions.

Hmm.. I started liking History until now.. my US History teacher is pretty entertaining, she cusses, yells, screams, rants, and debate when she talks about the History of the U.S., she's good at grabbing people's attention. Dx

I sometimes think it would be cool to live in a Gothic style Castle in the middle ages. With stained glass windows and stuff, i just think the gothic style of architecture is so cool! Also the renaissance period is very fascinating to me.

For me, I am interested in Medieval Life. It would have been fun to be one of the Minstrel Women, singing for the royal family, wearing the beautiful dresses and living in the camps. It would have been amazing and very interesting as every day would be a fight for survival.

History isnt one of my best school subjects, so it's not my favorite.

I do not like the study of how Countries were "born", the government, and all that stuff.

I like learning about really old times and being able to see artifacts from different parts of history. I'm actually considering becoming an archaeologist in the future.

Some parts of it I love learning about, others not so much.

World War I and II somehow don't interest me all that much,

But ancient civilizations and such fascinate me :)
