And since hitting the reset button cuts off the current from the battery to your Tama for a second..thus resetting it (or enabling you to download), then putting the tab back into the battery slot will do the exact same thing...you will have the option to start over or download your old character from it's last major event (which could have been it waking up that morning) thus making it difficult to progress with them.
