Ok, this is so weird.

I just made a new forum, so every time I go on there's this person who always post in every topic, with pictures, and there stacked on top of each other. All they do is SPAM, trash topics, and post rude replies.

Every time I ban them, they come back with a different IP, username, and email address. And some of them are fake, and they randomly validate theirself. Now I don't think their spam bots..

And they keep on posting picture like a evil barney, cuckoo for cocoa puffs picture, and some guy sitting in chair.

Also the person posted things like "i hate locky" club, "die locky" club, and such. Also their getting on my nerves, and they won't go away, even when I ban them! I just wanna choke the person so badly.

Then the person is posting things like Desu. The person usernames are like IM A BARBIE GIRL, Barney, LOL Bennie Bensai (however you spell it). AND ALL THEY DO IS TYPE IN CAPS LOCKS. All they do is wanna be rude, and annoying.

Some people may have seen this person, honestly.

What should I do?!!

Removing it is the best thing you can do... if they're using dial-up, their IP will change every time they connect to the internet, which is probably how they got around an IP ban...

You said they're just using a fake emails? On the Admin CP, you can change the settings so they have to validate their email. That way they wont be able to register with fake emails.

Oh man, that must be so hard, Locky! X[

But as the Admin, you've gotta come clean to them, no matter how mean it sounds.

'To join this forum, the rules are the neccesity. And if you are going to be rude about it, your E-mail address will be blocked from registrating here. That includes SPAM, capital letters, swearing and rudeness. Please, for everyone, keep it clean.'

Block their e-mail address if possible.

**UrItChI**: Um.. They change their email everytime. I tried that.

Chocosilver: Hm.. What if some is real, but wait I banned it.. What if they make a real email account? =\

Ok, I put the settings on Email Validation, I should put it on Admin Validation.. But I think it's fine.

Thanks you two. :D

I say just ignore the dang person. Happened to me and Blogagotchi, ignored them for some time, and eventually they stopped.

Well, the thing is, his site is pretty new. There aren't even mulitiple pages of topics yet. It's pretty different.

It's a sitewide infestation, not just harassing one person. I suppose that matters. Say tamatalk crashes for one person. Now say tamatalk crashes and everyone is effected.

Well, whoever did it I am NOT pleased with.

I don't care how much somebody may dislike you, or if they're just getting their fix of harrassment. It's not fair to you or anyone else on your site.

I guess you should either get a new site or try the Administrator Validation thing. I stil ldon't think it's fair because it's these persons fault that you have to make the extra effort. <.<;

It's just a bunch of people who are bored wit hnothing else to do with their boring, dull lives. |:

Whoever did it is probably a loser with no life. :D I'm happy none of my friends are like that. Whoever did it should be ashamed. And like RG said, they're just bored with their own lame lives. I hate it when things like this happen.

My only advice is ignore the loser, make a new website, and give the link to only close friends you can trust ^^

I agree. No forum administrator should have to put up with garbage like that, no matter who it is.

Anyway another suggestion that might work is check and write down the IP's that are coming in on this person. Are they similar for the first few digits? If so, do a range IP ban. That means basically if the last few numbers on the IP adresses are different but the rest are the same, ban the IP numbers starting with the same digits then add a "*" to the end so it catches the other digits 01-999. I'm not sure how your admin settings are but that would help. Downside would be that anyone who isn't a problem but with a similar IP would be unable to get to your forum unless they emailed you.

Hmm,

I know, I suggest to just make a new Website...PM all your members that are on that website, EXCEPT for the one that is making all those immature posts, and replys. And once you make a new website, you will never hear from that person ever again!

GOOD LUCK!!!

Thanks everyone for your concern.

Well they're gone now, I did the whole email validation, so when they use fake emails they can't post, and such. Noo... I'm not making a new forum..

He or she has been gone for over a day! Yay! The email validaton does work. Although I should set it to Admin Valadiation.

Um.. I suppose they have Dial up, because when they sign in their IP is different. -EDIT-

Ok, Chocosilver told me they might have dial up, and PineFur told me that might have a IP scrambler..

So everything's fine for now. I mean the forum just started, and like I would because some idiot wants to trash. So I banned all his/her possible email address, so they can't validate themselves!

Hahaa! Greeeatt idea.

Thanks again, everyone.
