When I was in Elementary school, my friends and I would hide them in our pockets and peek in and feed and play with them when the teacher wasn't looking. This was back with the '97 Tamagotchis, so, you know, there wasn't a whole lot to do when you fed and played with it. Just make guesstimates(sp?) on some numbers 5 times, and you're good. I got caught once, though, with my tama. Another time with my Nano kitty, but we're talking tamas here.
I think I was in about 5th grade...yeah, that sounds about right, because I was around 11. Is that right? Anyways, the teacher saw me in the back of the class and asked me what I was doing. Of course, I froze like a deer in headlights, so she came over to me and told me to hand it to her, which I did, because I was a surprisingly non-argumentative child...plus there WAS a rule about no virtual pets at school (and later no Pokemon cards, which I was also heavily into for a while). She just kept it in her desk until school was over, which was lucky for me, since she caught me at the end of the day. I think the actual policy was for them to keep them until the school year was over, but my teacher liked me.
Wow, that was long...
