I am watching Happy Feet right now. I wanted to know your feelings about penguins.

I love penguins! ^^

But I thought Happy Feet was just akward!

The penguins mating songs and Lovelace or whatever with all those girl penguns going to down under. o.0

That movie scared me.

Well, personally I thought Happy Feet was a very cute movie. But on to penguins.

I think penguins seem mistreated. Taken into zoos from their natural habitats, never left alone! Documented, collared, micro-chipped. I think it's cruel. Leave the penguins in their natural habitats to live in peace!!

Penguins are very smart animals. Very fast, too! Very fast swimmers.

The reason they're documented and microchipped is because penguins are starting to go extinct. The stuff scientists do helps them and their species. Usually zoos just breed the animals inside the zoos now, and don't take them from their habitats.

I love penguins! I adopted a penguin that lived in South America (it was one of those 'sponser an animal' things. You pay to help the penguins, and they give you information about your penguin and give you monthly updates on how it's doing). I didn't see Happy Feet though.

I think humans are cruel to animals including penguins. penguins are so cute! Has anyone read the book Mr. Poppers Penguins? I want penguins as pets too! LOL

Yeah it's sad if they are just taken from where they live.

But I'm sure alot of them are rescued and can't live in the wild anyways.

Then they mate and then more penguins that haven't ever lived in the wild, ect.

The pics. of your room ((in other topic)) really show your love to penguins. I am actully typing this while sitting on the couch with all the penguins but the stuffed version, LOL! They are keeping me company cause I have a stomach virus, Boo!

Story Time:::::: Not lying!!!!! We know this girl let's call her Z, Her class was at a zoo and the staff brought out penguins for a presintation. Then she grabbed one and put it in their backpack. No one noticed. When she came home they had to go back to the zoo to return it. ROTFL
