Hanatchi's friend?

I have a 5Yr old Hanatchi.

At 2pm every day a character comes and talks to it. This character has a whirly thing on its head. What is this character's name? If I press A, B or C my screen goes back to normal.

There is no character on the screen. It is just an animation. Tamas do that when they get bored.

Did the character happen to be a memetchi? It looks like this: :furawatchi: . And to answer what your tamagotchis doing is, as megaman23 said before, it is animation. Animation is what happens when your tamagotchi gets bored.
