Got my Palm Treo - need help

So, I hooked my new Palm Treo up to my computer for iD L downloads, and the computer didn't do anything except make a weird noise. What do I do?

The weird noise was probably Windows' "new hardware detection" sound.

I don't know which model Treo you have, but assuming you have a model which runs the Palm OS:

You'll need the HotSync software package to transfer the files to the Treo via the USB cable.

Another method of transferring the files would be to use an SD card. (Check if your Treo has an SD card slot.) Insert the SD card into your computer (or into an SD card reader attached to your computer), copy the extracted download files onto the SD card, eject the SD card from your computer and insert it into the Treo.

I have the Palm Treo 750 I think. It doesn't have an SD card slot.
