I really don't like the way 'gold' looks.

It's really ugly on cars expecially.

If you want a metallic, stick with silver

I heard that the gold is paint and it comes off really quick. Is this true?

I believe so. It doesn't look like GOLD paint it looks like fake gold paint so it will probablly chip off in just a matter of time! I think this is the wrong room, this room is NON Tamatalk so actually, you're NOT supposed to talk about tamagotchi's here.

I've got a silver one =P and yes the gold does come off easy. I found a site the other day and this person had one and said it all wore off in about a week, the writing on it too.

What everybody says is right. You'll get a shock if you buy it. The gold gets off really quickly and it leaves a nasty black colour and no name. I've seen pictures, not a good idea.
