Have you ever seen a ghost? Where was it? What was it doing?

I have had some in the Whaley House. One time when I was standing in the kitchen/dinning room, I felt something tug on my pants, like a little kid would do. Another time, I was looking in the bed room, when I felt like someone was standing behind me. It almost felt like a presance of a man. The feeling was so strong, that I turned around ( thinking it was my dad ), and said "Dad?". No one was there.

I hope to someday actually SEE a ghost. ;)

I have had many experiences with the paranormal, but I wont go into them. There are alot of skeptics on this site, and they would probably think that I am insane, so I shant describe.

Buh bye.

Yes, once my door opened by itself and I heard crying in the middle of the night ..

It wasn't anyone in my family either.

When I was 8 I was swimming in my Grammys pool with my cousins and I could have sworn I saw an id lady,

She was all white with one of those 80's hair style were its all like in a afro.

But I dont belive in ghost's anymore =]

I have never really had any 'Paronormal' experiences as such but, sometimes, when I am in my room or when I am just finished on the computer alone upstairs, I fell a cold shiver running through my back.

Well, I cant say these are actual ghost experiences as I cant tell you that ghosts exsist for sure anymore than the next person, but these sure seemed a bit wierd.

When I was 8 or 9 we lived in a little blue house, we then moved next door to it to a little white house (both owned by the same landlord, he wanted to remodel the blue one so he moved us) well after the remodel, a woman and her 2 kids (Mom = Heather. Kids = Brittney and Christa) Brittney was my age, Christa was only 2. Well, a few days before christmas their house caught on fire, long story short, Christa was asleep in the upstairs bedroom and didnt make it out. When Heather took the last load of stuff to their new house, me and brittney said good bye. We were sitting on the front porch of the house and I looked up and saw a man standing in the window, it was hard to tell that he was a man because his face was distorted, but I did see him. He was the stereotypical white transparent ghost but he was scary and he yelled get away to me. I never went back there after that.

Then, when I moved in with my husband (before we got married) we moved into a duplex where an old woman had killed herself, the first night I was there I woke up in the middle of the night and she was standing at the foot of the bed (Im not for sure it was her as I never saw her, but it was an old woman) though she wasnt scary like the first one I saw, she wasnt smiling or mad or anything, she just stood there for a minute and then disappeared.

Then, after my father in law died we moved into his house, the dogs are constantly barking at nothing, but this "nothing" is always in the places my father in law spent most of his time in, and we hear noises all the time (like someones getting a glass from the cupboard or opening the fridge etc.), and I swear I can feel him watching from time to time, this feeling has gotten stronger since my son was born.

I cant say that these are ghosts, it is most likely something that my brain is making up to deal with traumatic experiences in my life. But you never know...

No, I never have. But there's a girl in my school who claims that she sees dead people all the time during class. So many people believe her that she even got to be in a documentary about other kids across the United States that see dead people called Children of the Paranormal. Since I don't believe it though I call the documentary "Children of the Paranoid." Seriously, though. If she says she saw a dead person during English class, for example, she couldn't show them, right?

yes. you'll probbably think i'm crazy.

once, i slept over at my friends house. i kept seein this outline in the dark of a bigger person, probbaly a man. i woke up at night and i was the only one awake in the house. there was a black silouette again, and it got close really fast. when it hit me, i felt like ice. i did't sleep at all.

later, i found out that a guy had a hard attack in her shower and died, and the landlords that came down from california got in a plane crash, and the husband died.

i really wish she would've told me before.

and i went on a

st. augustine ghost tour

saw some interesting things that night.

and once some friends and i snuck into an abandoned house [whoopsies]

there was a closet, with some coats in them they were stage coats, for what i could tell. american-indian style, a big fur one, and like that. they were the only objects in the house. i reached out to touch one, and it gave me chills, and i walked away. i felt a strong wind come in [from a source i don't know],and blew every coat down except the fur one i touched.

and once we were walking in the woods at night [crazy flippin kids] and it was in a group with.....bout 4 people. the two guys went ahead, and me and my friend werre left alone. we had to cut through this yard , and the door opened in the back as we walked through. we heard a hissing noise and ran, and this shadow-type thing swooped across the yard, and before it got to us, like, right before it got to us, it disappared.

and on the ghost tour, me and my friends were snapping pictures of everything trying to get an orb or something, and we passed the graveyard. there were thousands.

but creepier, at exacly 12:00, we took a picture of a grave. when the picture came out, there was a human-looking thing next to it. it was pretty perfect.....except it didn't have a head. i'll try to get the pic.

well, that's enough for now, but i've got bunches. i might post more later.

Cool, blue slip. I am looking forward to hearing more from you!! :)

Maybe the person died of boredom XD

Joke

Anyway a few times but I can only recall when I was lying in bed minding my own buisness I just heard the blind downstairs being pulled down then a draw closing. I could swear that everyone in my house was in bed, I checked then I went downstairs to see if there was a burgler then suddenly I just saw this shadowy thing. I blinked a few times then it just disappeared. So then I ran upstairs and for the rest of the night I had the light on. Didn't sleep a wink.

True story: I was in late grade school. It was around 7 p.m. and my mom was "cleaning the downstairs living room" by giving my sister and me things to put away. I was always in charge of taking things upstairs to the bedrooms because my sister was lazy and would leave them on the steps. The first or second time I went upstairs, I turned the corner to go to my room and froze. There was a very large, short hair, striped, menacing tabby cat glaring at me from my parent's doorway. I panicked inside as it crossed the hall and came toward me. As it neared my right side, it disappeared. What was scary about this (besides the fact that it was HUGE compared to my size when I was 10 and looked like it was seeking to do harm) was that we had a similar looking cat at the time that was a tabby, but much smaller and friendly looking THAT WAS DOWNSTAIRS. Needless to say, I didn't make any more trips upstairs that night. It took a bit of time before I could go upstairs alone after dark without being afraid.

GREAT topic, btw. All of you who said you have more stories, I'd LOVE to hear them.

I think she was answering the question of "Have you ever had a ghost experience?"....although her one word answer is considered spam :D
