Welcome to Tamatalk! Which version is it though. There are many versions but if you dont know, can you describe what the tamagotchi looks like?

Your description was a bit vague, so it's difficult to determine exactly what's wrong. When in doubt:

Make sure her food level isn't empty and her happy level isn't empty. If neither were empty, try medicine. If that still doesn't help, try discipline.
