Friend trouble

Here's the story:

 

I've know this girl since preschool. I'll call her K. In preschool, we were best friends. We didn't go to the same elementary school, but now we go to the same middle school, except school's out. We've been good friends, but I don't like her anymore. She's been real mean to me.

Today, she called me and said she called one of my friends (I'll call her D) and D said "Never call me again" and hung up. K said that she hated D, but she needed to tell her something important. So, she had me call D, leave a message asking if K could call her, and I didn't know what to say. I left a stupid sounding message.

What important thing did K want to tell her? She problly didn't tell me because she done something mean to D and didn't want me to know. I'm trying to stay away from K, but she keeps calling me.

 

I feel like I'm making a fool out of myself. Please help!

Just tell her you don't want to do these things for her, and you feel like she's been being mean to you. If she doesn't stop just tell her you don't think you can be friends anymore and go with your other friends. I'm very sorry that you & K aren't getting on well, but sometimes people change - Not in a good way.

Thanks for the advice. It will be hard to tell her that. I'll stop doing those things for her, but I don't know if I could tell her I feel like she's being mean. Most people think she's nice because she's usually pretty polite. I'm never good at telling people I think they're being mean or I don't wanna be their friend anymore.
