No offense but this tamagotchi I see in the link you provided in the picture was made back in 1996 known as the P1 model. I own this particular one myself and I'd like to make it clear guys this isn't a fake. It's in fact real.
When Tamagotchi came out back in 1996 to North America, we got the P1 versions first, then not long after the P2 versions.

It's also proven to be real and not false because of bandai's logo on the packaging.
I'm sorry but you obviously are confused, but I was around when the older versions of tamagotchis were introduced (as well as other virtual pets). I suggest instead of claiming they're fake you do some research or ask someone for more information
Bandai Tamagotchi has been around a lot longer possibly before you were born or aware of them...keep that in mind.I'm gonna close this topic guys since we don't need anymore posts in here lol the question's already been answered and we don't need 3095804968 replies saying it's fake or not lol.
