force matchmaker

My Tama v2 is now 38 and being new to this, when I saw it "reading the book" ie matchmaker, I let it read "in peace" without pushing the "A" button. I have since learnt that I shouldve pushed the "A" button. Is there anyway, at all, that I can somehow force the matchmaker to come

I heard if you use a love potion. I'm not sure about this though.. just something I read here on the forums once.

put the time to 6.59pm then the matchmaker will come again

I have found this code and tried it but it hasnt worked. Heres another stupid question "do you need to have 3000 points to use the code?"

Free Love Potion:

Go to the shop. Press A three times within two seconds. The shopkeeper will look surprised. Then, press B, C, B, A, C,A, B, A. Repeat the code and you can buy it for 3000p.

Actually, no. The matchmaker wont come at all anymore. Once it is over 10 or so years old, the matchmaker does not come again. You have to raise your oldie (which is quite fun!)

Or if you dont want to do that, reset and start from scratch

mmmn I was up to 7th gen and was having a competition with one of my twins to see whos tama could reach the highest gen! looks like i lose! i guess my tama will just grow old and die now? so rather than reset it, i shall care for it as i hope to be cared for when i grow old! LOL

Hmm the code you gave never worked for me. But anyway, after you use the code once for the free item, you have to buy it if you want the item again. You know, you could always find someone, like the friend you meantioned, to breed your Tamagotchi with! It's not too old for that.

Actually, you all are trying to make it too complicated. As far as I know, there is no way to "force" the matchmaker to come. IF YOU USE THIS CODE AT THE SHOP: BCBCCABA

then you will get a jar of honey. If you use it FROM YOUR ITEMS LIST, your tama should have little hearts around it for about 10-20 minutes. BEFORE THE HEARTS GO AWAY, get your friend to enter the same code on their tama and use the honey. Then, connect the two "lovestruck" tamas and they will instantly mate (if they are the same version and different genders). Also, you need to keep in mind that only adults can use honey. This is just a shortcut for mating, instead of having to connect thousands of times.
