Fire Emblem Fates?

Is anyone planning on getting either of the new Fire Emblem Fates games?

I played Awakening several times and I really enjoyed it. I think I'm going to pick up Birthright when it comes out, because I'm not so great at games haha. But I really like the characters and the style of Conquest. Ahhh, but you can get the other path as DLC 50% off. So I'll probably end up playing both paths. (plus the third DLC only path) (This game is gonna drain me of all my money...)

I actually managed to snag a preorder of the special edition with all three paths on it on the day the special edition was announced!! I'm gonna start with Birthright, though

I also really loved, and still do love, Awakening tbh

I've gotten the fan translation of the Japanese SE and went ahead and played through Birthright/Hoshido already. I'm starting Conquest/Nohr right now and will probably also play Revelations. I really love thid game so far though, it's really interesting gameplay and story wise.

I don't have any money for the special edition so RIP. I'm probably going to get Hoshido first since I haven't really played FE before, but I want Nohr because it seems interesting and dun but idk I CAN'T PET MY WAIFU CAMILLA NOW THAT THEY REMOVED THE FEATURE UGHHHHHHHH

I'll be going with Conquest first. It's nice because it's kind of like a love-letter to fans of older FE games. That said, I need to finish my Awakening playthrough that I'm working on first. I'm also reeeeallly hoping they will print more copies of the special edition, but that's probably not going to happen, is it?

I'm really looking forward to trying out the new My Castle feature, but I've got to be honest and say that "waifu petting" (or "husbando petting" in my case ) didn't really sound appealing. But as far as I'm aware, the dialogue and relationship boost element is still going to be there.

I'm also holding off on getting it because of money. Maybe later they will also have the special edition restocked (so I can spend even more money ).

My preorder hasn't arrived, and won't be arriving until March according to Amazon tracking, but it says it's shipping soon!!

Until then, spoiler-dodging is gonna be a bit of a hassle probably #thatnzfeel

My sister and I got both Conquest and Birthright. I got Conquest, she got Birthright. If I start a new game on the second empty file, I'm going on the opposite side. I'm already on the appropriate side for my game, the Nohr.

Try Casual+Phoenix first. It should be easy and fun. If you do plan on playing both Fates and Awakening though, play Awakening first. Awakening will feel boring if you play that after as there's more features in Fates.

I've been taking my sweet time playing through Conquest and getting S ranks with characters, so far I enjoy the difficult mode that it has, I heard Birthright is a little bit easier so I want to save that for last but can't due to the Neutral path having spoilers.

Isn't Fates rated T? I know there is a bit of suggestive themes, death, swearing, etc., but it should be rated M. Last time I checked it was actually T.
