I'm interested to hear people's favorite odd pets. I'm not looking for suggestions or anything, so feel free to post your personal favorite, whatever it may be. I'm just curious. ^_^

Mine would either be the MGA Dino or Pocket Neopet--the MGA for all its animations, and the Pocket Neopet for its games.

i LOVE the digimon vpets :D i know theres so many of them but i love them all especially the classic vpet and pendulums ahhh (●´∀`●)

MGA pets, Dinkies, and the Pokemon quest pets (not the Pikachu ones). I know the Pokemon ones aren't really pets, but they're fun regardless.

Dinkies (because they were the first ones I've ever played with) gyaoppys (not that much demanding and pretty cute evolutions) and the Littlest pet shop ones (so many games, so much fun! :D )

Precure... All. I think the Splash Commune for games, Miracle Commune for cuteness levels.

Regular odd pet, my Attame Labo Warming Egg. Shaped like an egg and you have to look at the top.

my hello gotchi... my downright favorite since i found it at the flea market for fifty cents! ^_^

Littlest Pet Shop pets. I had one and it was so much fun! There were tons of places to explore. Unfortunately, it broke a while ago :(

If we're talking any non-Tamagotchi pet, then it's Digimon all the way for me. My favorite Digimon v-pet would be the Digivice iC (Japanese version of the Digivice Data Link, which was released outside of Japan under that name with gameplay that was a v-pet / quest hybrid), with the Xros Loader being my favorite quest-based Digivice.

The Digivice iC is great in my book because it has a shop, similar to the later Tamagotchi releases. The Xros Loader is cool not only because it has a color screen, but because of all the little side functions it has. Plus, being able to level up your Digimon army's leader is a plus.

The Digimon D-Scanners are fun too. Going around the house and scanning barcodes is more fun than you may think it is. :p

I like my 8-in-1 mini pets. It has some unique creatures to choose from, crab and butterfly, and it has some really cute features, like dancing and music.

@ Asia*, the Hello Gotchi runs the same programming as my Super Pet AND the both are the Apollo Pets' clones. ;)

Ok, update: Gyaoppi Bird, Akachan Dino, Dinkie Dino, Super Pet, Rikou No Koibito. ;P

It's really hard to choose, since I love all of my odd pets for different reasons! The odder they are, the more charm they have to me. Back in the 90's when they started cropping up at every big box, convenient, and grocery store, I would get excited to see a new pet I've never heard of or seen before. It was also such an exciting feeling to open up a new pet and pull that tab out, because you almost always got something different.

I think if I had to choose my ultimate favorite, it would be my "chick-a-pet", which is the exact same as the chicknoch and bird watching pets (gyaoppi logic). I like that it takes on a a few different forms before its final stage, it requires just the right amount of attention, the animations a simple but charming, I like all of the adult forms, and the weather features plus the extra card style game was a bonus too!

I also like the Nakamichi pet for it's simplicty and ease to take care of. It is hard to neglect, and a lot different than any of the popular pets. The Electronic Pocket Chicken was also one of the ones I played with a lot because it had some cool features and fun games, and the adult forms were similar to original Tamagotchi characters. Plus I liked the big screen with big chunky chraphics, also there wasnt much animation to them.
