Mine would have to be... the legend of Zelda series! I grew up playing LoZ and it has been my favorite game series ever since~ <3

What's yours? :)

Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES, 1992)

Sonic 3 & Knuckles (Genesis, 1994)

EarthBound (SNES, 1995)

Super Mario RPG (SNES, 1996)

Harvest Moon (SNES, 1997)

Parasite Eve (PlayStation, 1998)

Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64, 1998)

Pokémon Red / Blue (Game Boy, 1998)

Final Fantasy 8 (PlayStation, 1999)

The 90's and early 00's were my favorite period for video games. I need to get a NES someday soon so I can play some 80's games since that's where most of my favorite franchises began.

Donkey Kong Country (series)

Funny thing is, I know there are even more! These are just the first games that come to mind.

Ooooh man I love Pokemon Yellow so much... I believe it was from 1997/1998 (remake nowwww)

But I also love Super Mario Bros 3, which is from 1985 I believe, as for it was the first game I played on a NES, and the one I play most on it (and actually it influenced my sisters birth so uh)

If I get a SNES this might change however....

Here is a very long list of great 1980/90s games that I have played, In random order.

Descent 3 (Windows, 1999)

Team Fortress Classic (Windows, 1999)

Quake (Windows/DOS, 1996)

RollerCoaster Tycoon (Windows, 1999)

PaRappa The Rapper (PlayStation, 1997)

Tamagotchi (GameBoy, 1997)

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (GBC, 1998) (My copy's glitched, not bricked, though, but glitched, It was the previous owner's fault, though. Worst part is the later worlds, prompts me to put it in a GBC at random, when I AM on a GBC.)

Super Mario World (SNES, 1990)

The Elder Scrolls: Arena (MS-DOS, 1994)

The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall (MS-DOS, 1996)

Doom (MS-DOS /windows if you count Doom '95, 1993)

SimCity 2000 (Windows/MS-DOS/Macintosh, 1994)

SimCity (MS-DOS/Mac/SNES 1989/1991)

The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time (N64, 1998)

The Legend Of Zelda (NES, 1986)

EarthBound (SNES, 1994)

Mariopaint (technically it really isn't a game but whatever) (SNES, 1992)

Harvest Moon 64 (N64, 1999)

Super Mario 64 (N64, 1996)

Goldeneye 007 (N64, 1997)

Star Fox 64 (N64, 1997)

Half-Life (Windows, 1997)

Quake 2 (Windows, 1997)

Quake 3 Arena (PC, 1999) (But I won't fight if you prefer UT99)

There are a few games that would have been on my list if it wasn't filtered to 80s/90s, like The Sims 2 or Pokemon Puzzle Challenge, but they're eatly 2000s so they can't fit.

Pacman, Frogger, Dig Dug, Tetris, Q-bert, Ms. Pacman. Parsec (TI 994a game), Quake, Quake 2, Mario Bros, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, Galaga, Centipede, and Sonic the Hedgehog. Yeah, I'm old, and I still think the 80s games are the best. Most of the games today are too violent, and just not as much fun as they used to be. I'll stick with my retro games.
