What happened was, is that my friend gave me a V5/Famillitchi and a spare cell battery for my birthday present. The Person who sold it to my friend on Trademe said there were NEW batteries inside. So all was well and I called it the Tjhan Family and had a Girl Mimifuwatchi, a Boy Omutchi and a Boy Futabatchi. Before they were even an hour old they began to run out of batteries, so I turned down the contrast and switched the sound off so they would last longer.We then laid down the tamagotchi's on the car seat (yes, we were in the car, so there was no way of aquiring a screwdriver) to rest....
And when all this was happening there was sad music in the background, so it made it a lot more sad. We didn't go home yet because we had to have lunch which took about half an hour, drive to Pokeno which took about a half hour, had a walk (20 min), back in the car for half an hour and picking berries for about 30 minutes. Our next destination was the farm then Home.
After a while, Mimifuwatchi became Sakuramotchi, Omutchi became Ahirukutchi, and Futabtchi became Mattaritchi. So far it lasted for three hours; on the way to the farm we sang our own version of 'staying alive'...
"Stayin' alive, stayin' alive,
beep, beep, beep, beep
Stayin' alive, stain' alive,
beep, beep, beep, beep"
When the farm came into view we went out of the car, clutching the tamagotchi and the battery.
We trotted toward's the person next door and asked for a screwdriver, so we went into the shed and found the screwdriver. Hoping the V5 won't reset itself, we quickly unscrewed the tamagotchi, pried the old battery out and shoved the new battery in. We turned the tamagotchi over and the screen said 'wait...'
We all stood in a short moment of silence until the time and date reset came up.
"If only we came faster..."
My friend said.
