I have a sensitive stomach, but am very adventurous when it comes to food.
That can be a problem sometimes, as I LOVE trying new foods.
I've tried Caviar, Rice Noodles, Sushi, Pickled Ginger, and Red Bean Ice-Cream Yes, Red Bean Ice-Cream!
If Cultural food like this is making you sick, your parents should'nt be forcing you to eat it.
Not everyone's stomach can handle cultural differences so frequently.
Try asking her if you can have some other foods that you can eat.
Something easy that you can make, like Mac-n-Cheese or An egg and toast.
Then, both you and your Family can have the meal of your choice.
