I've had my share of wierd dreams before, but one I had last night really disturbed me.
I woke up alot last night after falling asleep at 3a.m. I was really tired and not feeling well all day yesterday, and I was kind of dizzy and weak and foggy when I went to bed. I woke up at 7a.m. after falling asleep in a chair downstairs, and I got up to go to my bed. I thought it was really wierd because I got this sudden rush of energy like I felt so much better all of a sudden and I was wide awake...which is not normal for me after 4 hours of sleep.
Anyway, I got up and went upstairs and laid down in my bed. I started immediately fe eling really tired and weak and groggy, and when I laid down on my side I started feeling dizzy again. I switched to my other side, but I felt like I had begun to suddenly fall asleep ...and I started feeling like I was on a boat on the ocean, bobbing and rocking. Then, I got this horrible visual in my mind like I was standing on the boat looking o ff the front of it and it was bouncing up and down on the rough sea water. For some reason this really freaked me out and I felt panicky, so I got up and we nt downstairs and walked around a bit. I just couldn't shake the feeling, but I also couldn't shake the feeling that I wasn't entirely awake either. It was horrible! I just kept picturing the darn boat moving under my feet. Ugh.
After awhile, I laid down in my recliner chair again, and eventually I felt a bit more normal, enough so to go back to sleep. It is 3 in the afternoon now and I'm still disturbed by the visual I had. If I think about it, I feel like I'm on the verge of freaking ou t. Creeptacular. Maybe I've been watching too much Shark Week. I'm groggy and tired after such a wierd night, which just makes the feeling worse. I really hope I can get back to feeling normal again soon. I don't like this feeling.
Have you guys had anything similar to this? Does this kind of wierd stuff bother you, or am I just a weenie?
