"Yeah." Damien said with a sad sigh.

"...Do you think if you took me to where it happened I'd remember?"

"Maybe..." Damien said, leading her to his bedroom.

Jessica frowned. "Ringing a bell... where was I?"

 

[YellowJedi]

"In the bed, sleeping." Damien told Jessica.

 

[tamaturtle]

Jessica hesitated before climbing into the bed, curling up. Then suddenly she tensed up and screamed, clutching her neck.

 

[YellowJedi]

"What's wrong?" Damien asked.

 

[tamaturtle]

"Nothing, just... remembering... how I died."

 

[YellowJedi]

"How did you die?" Damien asked.

 

[tamaturtle]

All Jessica said was "Vampire. Drained."

 

[YellowJedi]

Damien nodded slowly.

 

[tamaturtle]

"I... I don't know who it was, it was too quick..."

 

[YellowJedi]

Damien walked over and hugged Jessica softly, although he expected her to just push him away."Don't worry, that was the past."

 

[tamaturtle]

Jessica didn't push Damien away, preferring to lie there and hold her neck. "Yeah, it's just... you know."

 

[YellowJedi]

"I know Jessica, but you're fine now, and that's all that matters. I'm going to find whoever did that to you and get revenge." Damien told her softly.

Jessica gave a small laugh. "Good luck with that. I didn't even see my attacker's face."

 

[YellowJedi]

Damien sat next to Jessica and nodded. "I just don't want anything to happen to you again.

 

[tamaturtle]

"Well, that might be a little hard seeing as we appear to be in a warzone."

 

[YellowJedi]

Damien gave a nod. "I'm going to try my best."

 

[tamaturtle]

For probably the first time in her life, Jessica gave a warm smile. "Thanks. I'll hold you to that." A pause. "I really fancy a pizza right now. But I don't think they deliver in warzones."
