Today it is Earth Hour at your time zone local at 8pm to 9pm and what i found out on google homepage that it is black means turn off with white letters.

Will you tonight see what you will do when you turn off light. Please do the one question for earth hour.

What did you do during one hour "shut down" on Saturday march 29th from 8pm to 9pm when the lights were out?

My school is doing that. There are signs everywhere that says "Turn off your lights at 8pm-9pm!" But it's impossible for me to turn the computer off, so I say EPIC FAIL for me.

I think its useless.

My scool said "24 cities around the world are doing it  "

..24 comared to about 1,000,000,000,000,00 others. not impressive :)

I'm going to annoy everyone by flying over the Participating cities in a giant Helicopter with a floodlight underneath :)

Yea, I saw on Google. But it is morning now (during the Earth Hour) and it is sunny, so I don't even need to have the lights on!

The idea is to turn off lights (not computers) for one hour this Saturday evening between 8pm - 9pm - in your time zone...

So you can keep your computer on and not fail wildcat_gal_101 and you can turn your lights out this evening shs414 :)

No one says you have to of course, only if you want...

Yep! We did that at school, but I'm still doing it today.

But...I'm at a sleepover party, xP

So I'll have to convince everybody there to turn out the lights!

I'll try it and play my DS for that hour. It won't work for me. My sister can't live without TV and Computers. I doubt it will make a difference. I haven't heard anything about this. I guess we are not doing anything here. But, Whatever...

iv never heard of it but im SOO doing that tonight that would be cool emagin how much energy we save in just one hour ^.^

Well think about it guys, think about how much energy you use in one hour. Then if 24 cities turn off that power then it could make a little bit of a difference. Yeah I'm doing it because I'm staying at my gran's and I think the old dear can live without electricity (XD)
