All holidays were about something else, but now it's about candy and killing trees. :D
-Kuchipatchi-
Yeah and I thought they wanted to save the environment. All they are doing is cutting down trees and causing even more waste that probably won't get recycled again.

When I was younger my friends used to get about 20 easter eggs [That's ridiculous]. I only used to get about 4  .

Doesn't being baptised take away the sins from Adam and Eve or something like that? I'm not really sure, that's what my brother told me. He used to go to Sunday school and read the Bible, but he likes to make things up a lot.
You know a lot about Christianity, so I'll ask you another question I've been wanting to know the answer to. Is there a difference between being baptised and being christiened?
Baptism is an act of obediance- God commands us to be baptised.

It sybolizes our death [sin] and then being 'reborn' through Christ as a new person.

Baptism is not what saves us- is repenting from sins, believing Jesus died on the cross for those sins, and confessing your faith for Him- is what saves us and makes you a Christian.

[i don't know the exact verses at this moment but if you would like I could certainly find them for you. ;] ]

To be honest, I'm not to sure the difference between baptism and Christianed.

I'll try to find it for 'ya [i'm wondering now too! xD].

Thank you! That helped clear some things up for me.

When I was little and lived with my grandmother it was great! We went to church every Sunday and we said prayers. But now I live with my dad and I haven't gone to church since last Easter! Although I didn't like it back then now I would love to go to a church with my grandmother. Now Easter is all about getting plastic eggs with candy inside and not even wondering what Easter really is about. Oh welll. I got baptised when I was a baby...I think about 9 months or something.

Yup I'm religious! I know that

But thanks for telling the people who didn't know

I got babtized when I was very little

And Easter Just like evry otehr holiday ahs been targeted by Hallmark, to make money! They suck the sole out of every season with there crappy worthless gifts

Anytime. ^^

Ok, I'm pretty sure I got the aswer for your other question.

To be Christianed [i think depeding on how you use it in a sentence] is to become a Christian- accept Christ.

Being baptised is physicaly proclaiming that you are a Christian.

Sometimes Catholics baptise babies, but that's different from what I believe baptism is about. I don't know why Catholics baptise babies- some churchs don't believe in all the Bible, or make up things- but they think it's what saves you.

That is not what I think.

I hope that anwered your question. :D

Thanks again! The reason my dad got me and my brother baptised when we were little babies is because his parents were very religious and he knew they would get angry if he didn't. (They were Catholics)
