Prettymuch.

I don't have any girl friends IRL, except for one. And she's just so-and-so. I only have one friend named Augustine. He's pretty cool and all that junk. I don't tend to get along with the females in my school because of all the skipping and High School Musical and junk. Not alot of people are Harry Potter and Guardians Of Ga'Hoole in my schoo.

I have a ton of guy friends, and only a small handful of girlfriends. i don't fit in with the girls really, cuz i like to joke around, and i don't see the point in blowing all your money at the mall. i used to have a ton of girlfriends tho where i used to live...

trust me, i know what u r going through.

I find that I don;t really fit in with some of the girls, either. Alot of the girls in my class wear expensive designer clothes, I do wear stuff from American Eagle and that but I don't spend $150 on just jeans and a hoodie. I'm also sporty, since I wear alot of the dirtbiking and surf and skate brands like Roxy, O'Niell, Etnies and that. I'm pretty much in the middle xD

Meh, I have some male friends; I have some female friends. There's nothing wrong with having lots of male friends, and only a handful of female friends. Again, it's not that you're meant to be a boy, it's just that your interests stride a bit from the norm. Really, hang out with whoever you are most comfortable with, even if they aren't the same sex as you.

And, I don't know many girls who like to squander their money on shopping and care more about their looks and social status than their brains. I swear, all my female friends are dedicated fun and very, very intelligent.

I agree with what HappinessisGolden said. There's no need to feel uneasy because you can't fit in your own gender. Be happy because it means you're not a sexist (though I don't know many people who are). Maybe the opposite gender can be a little bit different than you, but there's nothing wrong with befriending them - they're people just like you.

Yeah, my female friends are fun, mature, and extremely intelligent. Like what HappinessisGolden said ^_^

Trust me, it's OK. It's normal too.

Hey, I can barely fit in with anybody of any sex...

I can't say I don't enjoy shopping (matter of fact, I love it so much I think it would count as a hobby for me), I can't say I'm not intrested in guys, and I can't say that I don't care about my looks. BUT, I like hanging out with guys much more then girls. They seem to be more simple then girls and have lower expectations of me. With a guy I just play, eat, and joke around. With girls I talk, hang out, and a lot of the time do nothing. I honestly enjoy hanging out with my guy friends becasue they're different then the 'prissy-prissy' girls you see around every corner in my neighborhood. The guys actually don't care about being toothpicks, instead they just be themselves. Lately I've been hanging out with lots of girls because my guy friends are starting to scare me a bit. There hormones are kicking in. o.o"...

Anyways, it really doesn't matter which sex you hang out with. Hope I helped. =]

I'm currently at an all-girls school, but I am about to move to a mixed school and there were boys at my school last year as well. I get on mostly with girls, and I can't ever imagine having a boy as my best friend, although I do have boyfriends and boys-who-are-my-friends. But all my closest, tell-you-everything, BBFL friends are girls. ^_^

But I wouldn't worry if I was you. You'll either grow out of it, or stay a tomboy! Both are fine! Just as long as you're happy with your friends, that's all that really matters!

I know what you mean :)

I was always that girl sitting with the boys at lunch time talking about Pokemon, Digimon and all that. I did everything with them, and over the years I've had more male best friends than female.

I'd rather hang out with a bunch of people who don't talk about stuff I hate, like makeup, netball, shopping.

Don't worry about it. It's fine to have more friends of the opposite gender :)

I fit in better with girls better than guys actually.

Anytime I get comfortable being friends with a guy or something, they be annoyingly persistant and keep asking me out. Then they've ruined it completely, and there's no hope left for them.

I've felt the same way most of my life. For example, from 1st to 6th grade I was the only girl who would play kickball. I don't like dressing up either or blowing my money at the mall. Also I have more guy friends than any of my female friends.

Male Friend Count -

Chris

Hayden

Avery

Kevin

4 total

Female Friend Count -

Jessica

Maryann

Mackenzie (kind of)

Meaghan (kind of)

4 maybe 2 total.

But the important thing to remember is that no activity is just "for boys" or "for girls". Girls can play football. Boys can play with dolls. There's nothing wrong with it.

Yes.

Im a HUGE tomboy. Even the girls treat me like a boy. It's just that, the girls at my school are all into make-up, skirts and drooling over celebs. Im not like that.

Girl friends.

Eliza

Sarah

Guy friends.

Kyle

Matthew

Ben

Calvin

Sam

And if I continue anymore, I would stretch the page out too much. Thats only a PINCH of the guy friends that I have.

The girl friends that I have are the only ones that arn't all girly etc. Eliza=GOTH. Sarah=Not goth, but not girly either. Athletic.

It's just a matter of who you get along with, so if you get along better with guys, so be it. Me, I get along much better with girls. But that's because most guys don't like me. xD

I'm a boy and I hang out with mostly girls. They call me a girl. They say I'm a girl. They laugh every time they talk about me being a girl. w/e

I'm equal. I think it's good to have a balance, because there is certain things you can say to girl friends and not guy friends, and vice versa. Most of the time I hang out with my girl and guy friends at the same time, we all are friends together.

If a girl hangs with the guys a lot, or the guy hangs out with all girls, no one should have a problem with it. It's that persons choice, even if it wouldn't be yours, you can't change there personality. Different people have different views ;)

No you weren't ment to be a boy you silly duck!!(not trying to be offencive) It's just that everyone is unique and maybeyou aren't very much like the girls around you you might just need to be around some different girls.

I know what you mean :ichigotchi: I was always that girl sitting with the boys at lunch time talking about Pokemon, Digimon and all that. I did everything with them, and over the years I've had more male best friends than female.

Don't worry about it. It's fine to have more friends of the opposite gender :kuribotchi:
