Okay, I've been wondering for a while now... I'm certain there are people here with Japanese and American Tamas...(Connections) Now I'm curious to if anyone has tried to connect their Japanese tama to an American tama... Like a Jap v4 to an American v4... If they work. It doesn't have to be a v4 only... I was just using that as an example. I've been thinking about getting a Deka Tamagotchi or the Tama Suku (school) and wondered about this.

I think maybe they might but I don't have a connection that is Japanese to try it out. That is why I'm asking.

To answer your question...

A few of Japanese Tama can connect to Non-Japanese versions, but only Marry themselves.

Ex:: The Keitai is technically the Japanese v3... Keitai can connect to Non-Japanese V2, V3, V4, V4.5

However, can only marry to other Keitai.

As for Entama (Technically Japanese v4), they can connect to Keitai, Akai and Uratama

According to the Guide, they cannot connect to American v4.

Conversely,v5 from all Regions can Connect and Marry with no problem.

Hopefully that guide is helpful.

Just to make sure, whenever I get ahold of Entama... I will do a connect test with my v4 for you.

*facepalm* I forgot about the guides... Uh... Can't believe that. Well thats good news for me then. Got any ideas if the Tama Suku and the Deka connect? (To any compatable american tama) I guess they would too, but eh. Who knows...
