Do Oldies go to work?

I'm going to be raising an oldie for the first time.

I just wanted to know if the oldie could still go to work after she changes... or do they retire?

this is pretty simple but i hope someone can tell me...

Yes, they do. The Job doesn't change. Nothing happens. It's just like having an adult.

This is what they do instead-

When you go to work for the first time after evolving into an oldie, the Gotchi King (or Great Gotchi) cons and hands the tamagotchi a present. This is a walking stick. You can't go to work after this.

When you select the "work" option on the 5th icon on your screen, you will see your oldie venture into Tamatown, but with a cane, not the symbol for the job it once took.Your oldie will then run around TamaTown, possibly in search of a job, but after seeing it's old work-place, it will sit outside, and the screen with go back to normal. This will happen every time without fail. You do not get a salary, either, unfortunately.
