Didn't get Mohitamatchi despite raising ONLY social points (V4)

So today I started a new generation on my v4 (the 20th, to be frank) and this time I wanted to get a Kuchipatchi. The baby's mother, a Violetchi, married a Debatchi and a boy was born, just like I wanted. When it began it's life, I fed it sandwiches, grapes, bananas and other foods that raise your Social skill points. I didn't play Jump Rope because it would raise a random one of my skill points. I wanted to see if it would become Mohitamatchi by raising only social skill points, and I got 16 of them. My tamagotchi evolved, and what did it turn into? A Puchitchi. Why.

I assume it was because of the weight, or because Violetchi didn't marry a male Kuchi family member (I assumed since Violetchi married a universal tama you'd be able to get any adult from any family. I should have said no to the matchmaker the first time she arrived and try to get Violetchi to marry a Kuchipatchi or something).

I hate raising babies. Not because they need the most attention, but because there's no real way to determine which toddler you'll get. Puchitchi won't evolve into a Kuchi family teen. 40% chance of Meme family, 30% of Mame.

I'm pretty sure that babies evolving into toddlers are, unfortunately, random. No matter what you feed them, they will evolve into a random toddler. Sorry, it really sucks, I hate that feeling of not knowing what your baby will evolve into, and have it evolve into something you didn't want it to.

I actually believe it depends on who the mother/father marries. I remember when one of my Tama's married a Minotchi, and the baby turned into a Mohitamatchi then a Young Dorotchi. So I raised to to a Pukatchi.

Well, since Violetchi is part of the Meme family and you married a universal character, you would get another Meme family. See, universal characters aren't part of an "actual" family, you would still get the one from the previous generation. Its confusing, but it's sort of like this:

Meme + Universal= Meme

Kutchi + Universal = Kutchi

Mame + Universal = Mame

Universal + Universal = Any(?)

So... get it? No? Well, I tried. Don't worry, I'm confusing myself too

Sorry for the huge picture, but basically Universal characters don't affect the family type in a generation. Hope that helps!

I use the Growth Chart a lot so I know who the Mame, Meme, Kuchi and Universal families are. Now I know all about how to get the Tama you want.

So in short, if you marry a Kuchi family member you'll get a Mohitamatchi, if you marry a Meme family member you'll get a Puchitchi OR Mizutamatchi (You can raise a Puchitchi to a Mame despite this, if you raise it's intelligence points) and if you marry a Mame family member you get a Harutchi (never got one of those lol) or a Puchitchi again. If you marry a Universal, the toddler will become that of the family which your parent Tama is.

Now to see which Mame/Meme adult I want for my current tama... I wanted Kuchipatchi

No problem. Although, even if you have, say, a Mimitchi and you marry a Kuchipatchi, you would still have a chance of getting the Mame family. I'm pretty sure it's 50/50

Edit: I'm running my v4, a Mimitchi named Kara with a baby boy. She married Tarakotchi , who is part of the Kutchi family. I'm going for a Minotchi! So I don't know what will happen... maybe I can tell you which family I got from a Mama/Kutchi offspring.
