Deleting data from deco pierce

Hi. I would like to sell my Dream Coffret pierce because I didn't like it very much. However someone told me I need to delete data from it first so that someone else could use it on their Tamagotchi P's.
Can someone, please, tell me how do I do that?

There's no need to delete "data" from the pierce, once the pierce is used on a new Tamagotchi, the data written inside it (which is basically just your name) will be overwritten with the new one.
