Country Music

I personally love country music...I can relate to it, and I grew up around it (in Georgia!!!)

how do y'all feel about country music?

I'm not a massive fan of it.

I've hardly heard any of it, though.

I'm a fan of Taylor Swift. When I saw her advert on a music channel, I thought 'Oh, what a show off - she wrote her first song at 13 ', but then I was bored one day and looked up 'Love Story' on YouTube, and it was actually really good. I looked at her other songs and now I really like her!!!

As for other country music...well, I haven't really listened to it, or maybe I have listened to it but just didn't know it was country...

I used to have to listen to it a couple of years ago at work because the only station that would come in was country music I would occasionally bring in my iPod and speakers just so I would not have to listen to it when I knew I'd be working in that building. I was seriously ready to hurl myself out the big window on to the train yard.

There were only a few songs I could tolerate but I find it promotes idiot lifestyles. Oh, I wish I could think of some examples!! I have managed to stay away from that music pretty successfully for 2 years now.

But there were some songs that would basically infuriate me because they would normalize drinking and lazy life.

The old country music was in general pretty OK. Johnny Cash is usually good.

My dad likes Taylor Swift... Eh.. I still don't know what to think about that. I love him anyway.

I don't like it! Not to be discriminative, but I'm not a fan of a southern accent. Plus they all seem too be singing about how someone ran over their dog

The Old Country was Great. My favorite song would have to be "Mama's Don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys"

As for the Newer country, My favorite singer would have to be Chuck Wicks. He is Ahmazing <333.

It's amusing sometimes. Like, the old type of country music. Yeah... otherwise, I cannot stand Taylor Swift or anyone else.

Well, I country music is alright. I don't have anyting against it, but it isn't my favorite genre.

I lovelovelove Taylor Swift though. She is such an inspiration to me. I can play her songs and my guitar and sing them at the same time. O:

And I like Carrie Underwood too. Gretchen Wilson isn't too bad, either.

I love the songs Honkeytonkbadonkadonk (sp? lol) and Save A Horse, Ride A Cowboy. 8D

Country music is the only thing worse than Disneypop and rap.

It makes me want to cry.
