Connecting help please!

So I have four different versions running right now, 2 v3's, a v4 and my Tama-go. The v3's connect just fine, and the v4 connects with other v4s without a problem. However when I try to connect using 'others' it says fail. I've tried multiple times. Is is possible for them to connect accross the different us versions???

Well, the Tama-Go will not connect to the older models like V1, V2, etc. but only connect to the V5 and Music Star. V4 will connect to V1,V2,V3, etc unless you link the 2 IR ports together, not like the newer ones when you put then next to each other and connect instantly.

The Tama-Go can connect with versions from V5 to it's self (the music star can also connect).

Also, the V4 can also connect with the V1, V2, V3, it's self and the V4.5.

So I'm not sure what to do. I've got my v4 and v3 right here and when I chose others it says fail. Whether I have the tops touching or a inch away it still says fail Am I doing something wrong?

On the V3, choose "V3".

On the V4, choose "Others"

V4 and V4.4 have always been a little glitchy when connecting with several other versions. You're not doing anything wrong.

Try pressing B on the other version first when it says standby. If that doesn't work, press it on v4 first.
