This is a concise and easy-to-read guide for all who are having problems with the Japanese language of the Tamagotchi Plus Color:
ACTIVATING YOUR TMGC+C:
1. Press a pen/pencil into the reset button, located in the same place as other versions of Tamagotchi.
2. Follow the same instructions as any other Tamagotchi toy from now on.
3. You will find out if your Tamagotchi pet is a boy or a girl. Blue/black baby is a boy, pink/white is a girl.
THE ICONS:
Take care of your TMGC+C just like another Tamagotchi, using the icons to nuture it. Knowing how to use the icons and when to use them is vital for your TMGC+C's health.
HUNGRINESS AND HAPPINESS ICON:
Take care or the number of full bowls will decrease and the small pink happiness meter will turn white! The number of full bowls represents the hungriness of your pet; the more bowls, the less hungry it is. The happiness meter, of course, represents the happiness. The more pink space in the happiness meter, the happier your pet is!
KNIFE AND FORK ICON:
This is obviously used to feed your pet. The top choice is meal, the bottom one is snack. Some snacks are not edible till your pet is an adult. You feed your pet in the same was as any other Tamagotchi toy.
TOILET ICON:
Click this when your pet poops or is about to!
DOOR ICON:
Click the door icon to play games, visit various shops and go the the park! Unlock more choices as your pet grows. (I will leave these as surprises for you!!). The three games are simple and you will ba able to figure them out by yourself. The two shops are the General Items Shop and the Room Shop. There will sometimes be friends at the park, sometimes not. You can never choose or predict!
HEART ICON:
This is used for connecting. I don't know what you can connect with or how to use the connect icon. You probably use it in the same way as other Tamagotchis.
MEDICAL KIT ICON:
Click this when your pet gets sick. This is very rare if you take good care of your pet.
TREASURE CHEST ICON:
This is used to store Items. There are three types of Item: Garden and Lucky Items, Shop items (you may not be able to use some of these till your pet is an adult or even a senior) and finally, the wierd thing that for some reason I can't use, and therefore can't tell you anything about it. Sorry!
SHOWER ICON:
Click this if your pet looks dirty.
BOOK ICON:
Use this to view your parents, friends and history (I think, but I can't click it becuse my pet is 1st Generation and has never even tried to connect).
"INVISIBLE" ICON:
This will only highlight when your pet is in distress. If it's highlighted, check the Hungry and Happy meters!
