Cocotama - New Owner

Yesterday my Cocotama Pedometer arrived, although I didn't have chance to set it up until this morning. It's really cute! I love it! I think I'm working my way around it, but I'm still a little confused by a few things.

1) There are two step counters; one is for the level of the Cocotama (and you appear to get new items when you complete it?) but what is the other one? My Cocotamas just seem to have a chat whenever I hit it?

2) How many Cocotamas are there to unlock? Is it just the two?

3) What do the destinations do? I can only select one at the minute and it takes them to a park?

4) What sort of things are there to unlock?

Aany other information, hints or tips would be hugely appreciated!

I've seen Cocotamas but had no idea what they did. I think it's cool they're pedometer pets! I hope you'll find some answers, I'm curious to learn all I can about them, too.
