My brother told me in high school they don't talk about being popular, and etc..
The 'popularity' problems and cliquey problems are appearently worse in middle school, and then get better in high school.

I don't go to school anymore. But when I did I was just normal but my boyfriend was popular and he is nothing like you stereotype them to be. Alot of people liked him because he was nice to talk to and he never really bothered with girls till me (so you can't say he pretended to be into the 'popular' girls) - so I guess the 'type' of 'popular' varies.

Yeah, popular kids at my school don't even think about being mean. They are nice and hilarious.

In your school, I'd bein the middle. But at my school, we don't really have cliques. Sure, everybody has their own groups like the drama kids are here nad the 8th graders are here, and the 7th graders are there but apart from stuff like thaat, no cliques. I love that. We have teams which means that we have groups of students randomly chosen to have the same teachers for the 4 academic subjests. It's easier that way, but sounds confusing to you, huh? We kind of have popular/unpopular people within our teams but not really.

I used to be an Outcast and that was pretty fun,but then I found out that my cousin was one of the most popular kids in school. That raised my status to "In the Middle".This is what the cliques are in my school.

Popular Girls-Also referred to as preps. Most pretty nice but some will ignore you if youre an Outcast.Get pretty good grades.

Popular Guys-Love sports.Sometimes bend the rules a little too far.I would be one of them but,Im not strong enough, and I suck at most sports. Some are really smart, but others are dumber than a box of rocks.

In The Middle-This is where you want to be.Get all the perks of the popular life and the Outcasts wont hate you.

Psuedo Goth-None in my school(that I know of).

Outcast-Some are really nice, but some will drive you nuts. They hate the Popular Kids, but like the In The Middle.

Nerd/Geek-Some people consider them Outcasts but I think they're weird enough to be in a category by themselves.Im pretty sure you all know what these guys are like.Im friends with a lot of them.

Yeah, I've heard that too.

There's more people to be with that most kids stick to their people [if that makes any sence what so ever. xD].

The 'popular people' at my school are more like the 'preppy mean girls'. They arn't really popular but they try to be. They're also loud and "HYPER". Wow.. get over it, everyone gets hyper. The preppy guys are all jerks.

..

well i really dont no wa Cliques mean but,....

Edit: this is at MY school

Popular Girls/Boys-Todal snobs. Mean to every boty bellow them. Exept 4 the people that were with them befor they got popular.

Posies- suck up to the popular ppl. thats all i can say

In Between- There starting to become popular, but there normaly nice ^_^

The popular group!!

I am preety popular in school!! Everyone wants to hang out with me!! Why would'nt I be popular? I am very good at sports and I ♥ wrestling!! At lunch there are like over 20 people sitting at my table!! I ♥ being the popular one!! LOL

I'm all grown up, but when I was in school, I did not belong to a clique. I was one on my own. I followed what my heart said and didn't follow what the other kids thought was cool. It only mattered to me that I did good in school not becoming popular, ecause that was the point of school.

I think that everyone has their very own special clique, because everyone is unique, and are different from the rest of the class. Sure, they all hang out together and like to do the same stuff, but everyone is still different. And I think that I can sometimes be popular... sometimes be in the middle.

But everyone should be labeled "Me."

We have a really bad clique problem at our school, but our cliques are quite different from the usual cliques because I go to an arts school.

We have the

Music Nerds, who are in either one of the jazz combos or the R&Bish (but a million times better than our R&B ensemble) ensemble. They are the ones who practice their instruments every chance the get and love to "Jam." These are the kids that have few friends but have very close friends, since all they do is talk about music all day. I would be considered a member of this group.

Then there are the Music Nonchalants who have given up. They don't really care anymore, so they skip class and get bad grades. They don't really care about anything, and they are terribly critical of their fellow musicians, despite the fact they claim they "suck" and "don't care."

We also have the Dance majors, and they are your popular kids, basically. They wear the Abercrombie and the Hollister and the tight shirts and short skirts and talk "like, okay, so like." This group is about 90% female. They get mediocre grades, have weeklong boyfriend & girlfriend relationships, and spread rumours. They are also the ones who say "Thank youuu" whenever a teacher gives them an assignment in that drawn out, annoying voice, and then proceed to whine about how awful the teacher is as she walks away. People of this group also tend to "hate" the arts school, and members of this group are most prone to transferring out.

Then there are the Theater majors. They are usually the ones who NEVER SHUT UP and yap and yap. They usually stay close together, and are pretty good about doing well in their theater classes, but often don't care about much else. This is the most diverse group - half of them are very intent on keeping grades up, and the other have is the loud half that doesn't really care about anything but theater.

Then there are the Visual arts majors. These are the kids who usually intermingle with the theater majors, and are very fond of partying, getting below average or good grades, and smoking and drinking. This is the clique you'd really ought to watch out for and stay away from.
