I feel silly for posting on a board that is predominantly younger kids, as I'm 19 but I cannot figure this little thing out. I remember Tamagotchi's from when I was about 11 years old or younger, and this V3 I have works a little differently, obviously. I'm a kid at heart.

I have a v1 connection which really isn't that fantastic, so I found a v3, bought 2 so they could interract, but I'm having problems.

I cannot get them to wear the costumes, or use any of the items except the ball. The ball works, nothing else does. Do my Tama's have to be a certain age to wear the costumes and use the love potion? :p

Any help would be appreciated.

Don't to feel silly - there are many 'older' persons here.

Most of the items are only usable by adults - including costumes and love potion.

Other than adults can use the toys like Action Figure, Doll and Ball. They can also use Plants, Shovels, Lamps, Chests and the Gramophone. Teens can use the BLDG Blocks. I hope I didn't miss anything.

Very neat, thank you so much. I thought perhaps I had some defective toys here. But I just have to wait...and wait and wait, haha.

Thank you! :p

How about on v1? Do the adults like the balls on v1? haha, I feel so out of date using a v1...

Thank goodness I found a v3.

I missed the v2's, I'm not sure how. I remember they were re-released after like 10 years or something, like in 2004, and the connections came out, which must have been the v1...and then I never heard about any newer versions, like the v2.

the v1 isn't that great. I'm glad I didn't buy more than 1. I like the v3's because they are quite interactive. They ought to spend a bit of money on the graphics though.

By the way, I don't know if people are still looking for the v3's or not but I went to Wal Mart and they were all out and have been for months, so I went to Target and they had about 20 of them.

I'm in the US by the way, if that matters. So let people know they can find them at Target. ;)

Should I? I have a Full Guide for the V3. I said look in stores, that is good enough, isn't it?

Well just any store is not very descriptive. There are department stores, malls, etc.

I have typically found Tama's at these stores:

Toys R Us

Wal Mart

Target

KB Toys

They don't have them everywhere and if you are more specific it might be more helpful.
