Can this fake tamagotchi be used for parts ?

I found this fake tamagotchi on aliexpress.

It looks like a tamagotchi familitchi even tho it's probably the generic program like pretty much every other tamagotchi. But i just wanted to know if it's possible to use some parts from the fake (like the buttons) to repair a real tamagotchi ? I saw some fake tamagotchi that were bigger than the real ones, so i'm curious to know if any of you bought one !

I think the buttons will be alright, but I’m not sure about the quality since it’s a fake tama.

Yeah, I think the buttons will work (They look rubbery) and the IR cover might fit some real Tamas. Not sure though.
How did you find a JD looking pet on AliExpress? I thought that the fake tamas there were just bunny ROMs and some others but in small numbers.

The covers and shell will work, go ahead! In case your thinking of using the memory board and insides, they will have the same ROM as a fake so you probably don't want to do that!
