Im getting a little bored w/ tamas. does anyone have some things that'll fet me back into it?

I voted "maybe" in your poll, although I'm gearing more toward "yes" because I'm at one of those points in my life where I cherish and collect them even more than I have ever done before. That's just me. :) I say "maybe" because it's highly circumstantial. If you feel compelled to start one up again, why not go for it? Maybe start with one that's fairly low-maintenance so that you can have the benefit of caring for one while still being able to go about your business. If you start getting more into Tamagotchis as a result of this little trial, good for you. On the other hand, if you feel that your interest is waning, I'd say don't fight it. You can tab up any Tamagotchis you are running and save them for when you feel like playing with them again. You shouldn't feel like you're being forced to start anything. Personally, I've gone through two significant periods in the 10 or so years I've been playing with Tamagotchis where I just didn't play with them. A lot of times, I just didn't have time. It just happened that I rediscovered them each time and it just took off from there. Interests naturally ebb and flow over time.

I voted maybe as well.

You should maybe buy a couple of new versions that you haven't got, try them out, and see if you like them. If you still don't like them, then don't try to, if you have to try to like something, you're never going to truely like it. Also, if you still don't like them, you don't have to come of Tamatalk, theres plenty of none Tamagotchi forums on here ;)

The real reason I'm asking this is because I have gone through cycles where in the summer I'm playing them all the time, but when school starts I sorta forget about them until the summer when I have to buy new batteries for them. I got to school for 7:30 am to 3:30 PM, now in addition to this question if you voted "Yes" and/or "Maybe" It's possible you can help me out with a schedule to that works around my school time; because personally I'm not good at that. I'd like if it could be around the Tama-Go. Thanks!

How about just set the clock so that it's sleeping while you're at school and awake when you're not? It all kind of depends on what your sleep schedule is like too because if you switch the time, your Tamagotchi's waking hours might overlap a bit with your sleeping hours (depending on when you go to sleep).

I go through times when I don't play with them. These times last from a month to maybe 3 months.

This has happened recently yet again as I had not run anything since Bandai sent me that Go in umm.. July? I played with that for a week or so then put it away and didn't pick anything up for the rest of the summer and I was called back to work a month early and I got a motorcycle so I wasn't in the Tamagotchi mood.

Recently, people got to talking about them and I grabbed one and start it up! I started a V5 a couple of weeks ago then my friends were running their iDs so I started mine too. ;) That iD is great!

So put them aside for a while. Pick them up later. Everyone needs a break.

I voted yes.

Sometimes I go through stages like this and I usually put them away. Then, when I read good logs about a certain Tamagotchi, I feel like I really want to play with it!, For example, When I read binary's log on the Tama-Go, I could not wait any longer so I ordered one off eBay and ended up purchasing another one from the shops. It really just depends on you, if you believe that you will enjoy raising one, pick one up, if you think you need a break then just enjoy your beep-free time! (However long that may be. :p ).

Yeah, I go on and off them too. Right now I think I'm in a good balance. I have friends, I have fun, and Tamagotchis and school don't rule my life. :3 I feel lucky.
