Being a new person

Just a few moments ago I was sifting through all my old posts... realizing how much of a JERK I was, such a nuisance sometimes. It made me think that at one point, most of us were like this... whether it was intentional or not. I realize how much I've matured, considering these old, old posts were only made a little over a year ago... still quite embarrassing to look back at all the silly stuff I said.

So how about you? Do you look at your old posts?

I always do. I find posts which could have been said better, and posts that make me look like a complete simpleton. I also find that some of my posts are extremely well written (not meaning to brag) and some which make me look 15. I never really spammed, but quite a lot of the stuff that I did was unhelpful. But the most recent ones are actually alright. I've grown up a bit in the three-and-a-half months I've been here. Who would have thought that I just came here to find out how to get my tama out of its costume without making it go to sleep, and I found this whole, wonderful internet community of people from all over the world. Maybe its the realisation that some people are completely and totally arrogant, ignorant and stupid that's made me grow up. I don't know. All I know is that I have.

I don't look at my own posts so much as I look at other's old posts. That way when they make claims that are so obviously false, I can use whatever they said in past posts against them ^.^

I've only been here a month, plus I'm seventeen so ya know, I should be one of those who acts the most grown-up around here.

However, on my own forum (which I'm not linking to), you can kinda see how much I've changed. I started it when I was fifteen and it was funny cos I didn't actually know much about what my forum was about! I also used a lot of chatspeak and didn't even make many rules and regulations.

I hope you guys all realise how nice it is to be part of a huge community like this and how it can make you a kinder, wiser person. That's how powerful forums can be!
