Hey, all! I’ve been wanting to talk about some interesting experiences I’ve had with this vpet, as well as log my progress. I’m working to raise each character in the “creative” egg group and complete my notebook, or at least fill it out as much as possible without using a QR code generator… I’m not exactly prone to keeping up with the tamagotchi.com missions. (Notably, I’ve been doing missions here and there and taking screenshots of the QR codes for some time, so I still have a few mission items.)

As you probably noticed from the fact that I seemingly started at day four, I’ve already been running the Pix Party for a few days—enough time to raise my first Tama to adulthood. Meet Gilbert the Neliatchi! She’s currently training to be a trumpet player.



I don’t really have much else to say, but I want to bring to light that Gilbert seems to have found a best friend in Ichirinshatchi! It’s honestly adorable. Here are some highlights:

Got a ring on the doorbell, and it was Ichirinshatchi! Gilbert showed him around the house—so cute!



Finally, he was the only one to like Gilbert’s one and only social media post. I definitely had a big grin on my face when I saw this. It solidified them as close friends in my mind.



Anyways, that’s about it for today. Now for a few interesting facts about Neliatchi, other than the ones listed on the website.

Neliatchi!! I love her!!

We had a party and Gilbert won the Bingo Game lol. The prize was a star wand that I really wanted T-T Then I played again and won, but the prize was just Fluffy Cloud which I already had. So I did the Gift Game and put in the Fluffy Cloud and got this dragon statue thing that I've never seen before! It was the very last thing on the item list in the notebook!

She doesn't like Ramen? What bad taste XDD (Mametchi is bad taste too, cringing over Black Burger XD)

I like the reoccurrences of Ichirinshatchi XD

July 6, 2022 (Day 5)

She doesn't like Ramen? What bad taste XDD

For real. Who doesn’t like ramen? (Neliatchi, apparently.)

Gilbert’s distaste for that dish aside, I continued to round out the “Tama List” section in the notebook and met Momotchi and Poptchi, among others. I counted the number of Tamas I’ve met, and it looks like I’ve seen a little over half of all characters, so that’s nice. I unfortunately suspect that I will only be able to meet some at certain times of year, which is annoying, but whatever.

(Pro tip: If you’re looking to meet more Tamas, “Explore” is usually the way to go, as opposed to the Park, which is more likely to show the same characters over and over again.)



Anyways, there’s an issue of relative importance that I’d like to discuss with you all. Some of my favorite Tamas belong to the “charming” or “smart” group, so the only way I could raise someone like KuroMametchi or Milktchi without loosing all my progress would be to do the unthinkable and purposefully kill a poor, innocent Tamagotchi! I really like some of these other characters, but I’d feel very guilty if I did that. So once I’ve raised all characters in my current egg group, what should I do? Continue to raise characters I may or may not particularly care for, or sacrifice one of these critters to go for another egg group? What a dilemma!



This post is getting a little lengthy, so I’ll wrap up by saying that I had a little party with @Maskutchi ’s Tamagotchi. I cooked up some Party Pizza, and we played the DJ game. I also discovered that the photo "game" allows you to use all sorts of different scenery—it’s pretty neat!

Wait, really? What a relief! Though I do feel a bit silly now for writing that whole paragraph.

Haha, yes! They're called "fake nose glasses", and you get them from bingo and the gift game in parties.

July 8, 2022 (Day 7)

Not much happened today. I slept in a little, so I expect I may have gotten a care mistake or two, but I guess it doesn't matter. Gilbert's already fully evolved, anyway. I continued with her training and all that. She's still trying to be a trumpet player.



I've begun to have some trouble filling out the notebook. I couldn't find a single new meetable Tama yesterday (though I found a few today), and I've been struggling to cook up new food. I suppose that means I've made good progress, but it's a bit irritating all the same.



Also... I feel like we all kinda just gloss over how Tamas seem to just... eat their plate or bowl?? Like, it'll disappear with the food. Surely the implication is that they're eating it, too, right? Saves 'em the trouble of doing the dishes, I guess.

July 11, 2022 (Day 10)

Gilbert left for her home planet yesterday. I had the option to keep her for a little longer, but I decided not to. The generations must go on, as they say.



It looks like Gilbert went on to be a piano player (not a trumpet player?). I guess I was just training her to be a musical performer in general.



Gilbert selected the egg of her successor (a charming one this time) and went on her merry way. It wasn't long before the egg in question hatched, and out came my new Tama. My mom dubbed him "Square", and the name stuck. I also switched up the Tama’s room a little, partly because I wanted a little change of pace, but mostly because I was looking for an excuse to use the little teddy bear furniture item.



I was trying to get the middle care child and teen stages, and it worked for Fuyofuyotchi, but I somehow accidentally increased Square's friendship level to friendly. I don't even know what happened! I was just feeding him some bagels, of all things. Maybe I should have ignored him a little more?? I dunno, but if you have any tips for not raising a Tama’s friendship level, let me know.



None of the charming guys are really standing out to me—that is, except one in particular, who happens to be my favorite Tama of all time. But I think I raise him a little later. For now, I’ll just try to go for Ginjirotchi.

July 14, 2022 (Day 13)

I woke up bright and early (at seven, to be exact) to catch Square’s evolution sequence. Unfortunately, he and the house were a bit dirty.



I got the performance training room yesterday, so I avoided taking Square outside to see if I could get another room, and I got the customization room today. I’d like Square’s future job to be more of a mystery.

July 18, 2022 (Day 17)

Today, Square left for his home planet (they grow up so fast ). He became a chef in spite of my... lack of skill with the cooking minigame, to put it lightly. Maybe because I kept replaying it, trying to see if I could get a perfect score (I couldn't).



Looks like he's cooking ramen, one of his favorite foods!

He then selected a new egg (a creative one again), and it hatched into a girl, who I named Betty, in reference to a song that's been stuck in my head a lot lately--"You Can Call Me Al" by Paul Simon. I also plan on getting Violetchi, and she kind of just... looks like a Betty, y'know?



I'm also trying going to go for Tororitchi, so I've already started racking up CMs. I feel a lot more guilty about doing that with the Pix than with my P2... I mean, before I just wouldn't turn off the lights when it went to sleep, and I'd get enough CMs to get any character I wanted. But now? I'm literally just starving the poor thing. Oh, well... I'll definitely be spoiling Betty with lots of treats when she's done growing.

July 21, 2022 (Day 20)

So, the other day, Betty evolved into Toriritchi as I hoped. The following day, we went to the park to celebrate Eco Day and get a little badge. I missed it it on the 10th, so I was glad to have caught it yesterday.



I awoke early this morning to the sound of her evolving into an adult. I scrambled to grab the Tamagotchi from my nightstand, but could only catch the last few moments of the animation.



Not much else to say--just that I didn't realize until now how goofy some of Violetchi's expressions can be.

There's actually multiple Eco Day thingies so try to go on 10, 20, and 30th

I feed my adults bagels even though they hate it because I'm too lazy to cook and too poor to buy them food at the restaurant XD I feel like when I cook I get 90% sweets that don't affect hunger T_T It's nice to get the sweets that do, though, like chocolate cake Because then you take care of two problems at once ^^

It is! You can get it in the Tama Store for 2,000 Gotchi Points (that is, without a remodel coupon).

I'm not too sure what you mean by the dressing room. Were you perhaps referring to Ginjirotchi's customization room? In which case, I'm not too sure.

July 29, 2022 (Day 28)

After Violet returned to her home planet (she became a florist!), she picked out a smart egg, which hatched into a boy. I couldn't come up with a name until he was a teenager, but I eventually named him Terry.



Terry successfully evolved into Mokumokutchi, and I tried to get Mokokotchi, but I ended up raising his friendship level again. I think it's because I used items to keep his happiness above 0. I'm just not sure if having his happiness empty for too long would kill him, like a vintage model, and I don't want to risk it. I think I'll go Kurupoyotchi the next time I get a boy Tama, and then try for Mokokotchi after that.



I decided to get KuroMametchi, one of my favorite Tamas. I got three ICMs and fed Terry four black burgers for good measure. And it worked!



Also, upon watering the trees today, the fruit that grew was... hot dogs? Not sure how that works lol.



I think I'll make a mini post tomorrow for Eco Day.

P.S. Arthur, my P2 Zatchi, tragically died the other day. And, just as the death animation began, I got the low battery screen... so it wouldn't stop beeping until I removed the battery. I'm actually really impressed with the device's battery life; it lasted long enough for me to raise all characters in the P2, which took several months. In any case, since there's not too much left to do with the device, I haven't replaced the battery and will be retiring it. For now, of course.

Thanks! Yeah, that was a little annoying, but of all the times a P1/P2's battery could die, that's definitely the best.

Yes, it is a tiara.

July 30, 2022 (Day 29)

As promised, here's a little post for Eco Day. I was a bit surprised to get another eco badge; I thought I would get a different eco item this time. Maybe I'm just unlucky?



Also, the new mission is a total scam! One of the solutions is "balloon", so I though the prize would be those darling Memetchi balloons in the picture. But alas! It was just some berry balloons (for regular Pix users, presumably). At any rate, I might just have to resort to using Mr. Blinky's website.
