I guess this is one reason why the fanbase is said to be awesome. The idea of fans getting other fans to arrange a load of events around various countries to meet, well...fans all on the same day to cosplay and stuff sounds...interesting. xD Too much repetition.

It's not something you can do with most fanbases, anyway, especially since they're either unpopular series or a bad fanbase. =P

The Hetalia fanbase is wonderful. The majority of them are awesome people. History has brought them together to love the characters.

Hetalia days are so much fun. I myself have never been to one -- since I have no Hetalia cosplay yet -- but they seem so much fun. Public humiliation? Who cares! You're having fun.

Geez, why is it that this topic dies fast?

Well, in a new light, the dub DVD is almost out! In a few days, I think eight or nine days, the DVDs will be released.

Secondly, have any of you guys watched HetaOni, RomaHeta, or HetaQuest? They're playhroughs of games with hetalia characters. HetaOni is scary while RomaHeta and HetaQuest have scary moments, but mostly just like a basic RPG. I suggest watching them, HetaOni is my personal favourite and it's still getting updated.

Ooh, that sounds interesting.

But looking at the code of conduct, it's a cosplay thing. It's annoying to see so many cosplays, especially for Hetalia. Probably because there are more fans out there that can't draw than there are that can?

Hetalia Day isn't about drawing/writing, it's always been about cosplay.

____ Days are mostly for cosplay and fans to get together. If you want art, go to a convention and just draw Hetalia art. Hetalia Days aren't a contest for art, devoted for Hetalia, it's a get-together. I haven't been to one myself but I'm sure it's alot of fun! A friend of mine is going to do an article about it in a webzine on Hetalia (I'm apart of said magazine), so she'll be able to tell us about it.
