I don't hate MLP at all. I'm just uninterested.

I've tried to watch it, but couldn't get into it. The only thing I hate are the people who try to get me to watch it so hard, that it's like they are preaching to me about Pony-Jesus or something.

It feels like there's a religion of pony based fandom spreading in the same way Christianity did in the Ancient Roman times.

I feel like I'm a Roman and that there's a bunch of Christians on my door step trying to make me convert.

(As a side note, im not dissing religion, im only making an analogy. Don't worry it's more towards humour.)

So I only dislike certain people within the MLP fandom. Not the fandom itself or all pony-loving people within it.

Again i only have a lack of interest, and Don't hate MLP.

I hate some parts of the fandom too. I don't like the people who create the horrible inappropriate fan fiction and art, because young children could very easily and unintentionally get to it when looking for episodes of the show online. Also I agree that people shouldn't be telling you to watch it. I like MLP, but if someone else doesn't watch it then that's fine. I only have a problem if they start hating on it which is annoying and counts as spam or trying to pick a fight or both.

It's not my most favorite show, but I definitely enjoy it. I don't like how the majority of the fanbase is creepy or immature, though. They give everyone who likes the show a bad name.

I love the show, but i dont like being grouped with the creepy old bearded men that most people seem to think is the entire fandom. Sigh...

I do love it, alot. Its like, my favorite! ^-^

I agree, it is cute. The characters are quite cute as well, just like tamagotchi characters are.

Which is probably the only thing I can say I like about MLP are the characters' cuteness. However cuteness isn't enough to make me interested in a show.

If you aren't into that sort of thing, it can really deture someone. I think very few people actually realize how religous it really is. Each of those symbols of harmony route back too. Luna, she is a big proof of this when she turns good, again.

I started watching it because my neices watched it. Then I got into it. It was my childhood... I kept watching as I realized a story actually happend. Not someing like fillers...

Well yeah it is, but there are some people at school who preach to me like no tomorrow. If you've played Skyrim you'll know who a guy called "Heimskr" is. and those people i compare to him

I was a huge fan of Generation 1 of MLP, and have some of the DVD's for it. Also My Little Pony Tales, totally loved it when I was 8 because I really like the ponies they had on the show. I totally wanted to be a cross between Patch, Bright Eyes and Sweetheart haha. It seems to be an unpopular opinion to prefer the older series to the new and I don't really understand why but w/e.

I don't care for the Friendship Is Magic series, partially because the character design isn't really appealing (to me), the fact that cartoons aren't really my thing anymore, and the fanbase is creepy as hell. The fandom is legitimately one of the creepiest ones I've come across and I'm just staying away from that train wreck. (You know what part of the fandom.) It's been kind of ruined for me because of that reason tbh, and it's kind of sad that they give what seems to be a decent show a bad rep with their inappropriate behaviour and the like. But I still love and occasionally watch the older MLP. Sorry if I come off as a little mean, past experiences with some people in the fandom were kinda terrible.

None. I don't mind them. I watched first two seasons of MLP: FiM but wasn't thrilled about it. It was just too childish for me and I didn't feel like continuing.

No, seriously, because in Italy people say the Tamagotchi anime sucks without watching an episode and they watch MLP.

I mean everybody used to play Tamas and only girls used to play with MLP, so I don't get why there are sub ita for MLP and not for Tamagotchi.

Yes, Italian bronies hate the Italian dub while you surely love it for its anime opening.

I actually like the Italian opening and I hate the American's.

And I don't get why people subs in English the JP of MLP, I mean, it's an American cartoon, and the Japanese dub is really bad and full of cuts.

I fall somewhere in between. I'm an 80's kid and love the original MLP series. I collected toy ponies, adored the series and watched my VHS tapes of episodes and movies before school almost every morning when I was super little. Even as an adult, I bought a few vintage ponies because I still think they're really adorable.

I've watched a lot of MLP: FIM because I've wanted to give it a try, and I often keep on The Hub during the day while I do housework. It's so nice and relaxing. But I haven't warmed up to the newer generation as much as I would have liked to. It doesn't give off that warm feeling the original series did and the humor is "eh" for me. The imagery is really fun to look at though. I can appreciate the artistry even if I lean towards the original style more.

I've loved it since I was 4, by lost interest when G3.5 came out but when G4 came on the scene I got interested in collecting them again!! I don't really watch the show but I watch clips from time to time.

The only thing I hate about the fandom is how tons of people post inappropriate videos on YouTube, where little kids can easily click on one thinking its a regular cutesy MLP video and in reality be a disgusting video that would scar them for life. Also at Cons some people dress up as any of the characters and do inappropriate stuff around them, but I think kids shouldn't go to Cons anyway.

So many of you say you're not fans or less of a fan because of the fandom... it's sad how the fandom is so bad and creepy and annoying. I don't have an issue with men liking it, I just have an issue with the horrible inappropriate stuff that ends up all over the internet and scares off potential fans.
