I'll make this as quick as possible.
1) I don't want anime, so I won't comment on it.
2) Tamagotchies getting smashed and people dieing in wars has absolutly nothing to do with eachother. Some people feel certain strong bonds with things like tamagotchies or stuft animals- and there's nothing wrong with that. If you have a problem with people who like tamagotchies more than you, suck it up. People are difference. If the scene went something like kids were more sad over the death of a tamagotchi than an actual person, then yes, a red flag should be going up, but that's not the case. Not even close.
3) I believe in the food chain and it's 100% fair. You mentioned snakes eating bunnies and them strangleing them and eating them, well sure, obviously snakes eat others in the wild, but this is not [as mentioned earlier] the wild. It's not 'mean' to eat animals and feed animals to animals, it's how you do it that's the biggest problem for me.
Your rant seemed more like a stab against opinions that differ from yours.
