Any way to make a remake p1/p2 quieter?

I love running the P1/2s but they are so loud and the pitch at the volume it is set at is just a lot for me. I tried to put a small piece of paper in the back over the speaker but It didn't do much. I may try to put multiple pieces when i run one again but i was wondering if anybody else had any ideas.

Do you wish it to be muted completely? For muting completely, pushing a+c at the same time for a second or two should work. To enable sound again the same button press must be made. I have no idea other than that to decrease sound volume, sadly.

you can try putting a circle of felt over it to muffle the sound which ive had mixed results with on some of the older models. does make screwing the back on a little harder, havent tried with p1/p2 so ymmv

you could also try one of those knitted cases i see around on ebay to dampen the sound coming thru the rest of the case if they do them for that size/shape gotchis
