At that price point, you should just get the original Tamagotchi, rather than a fake coloured one. ‪‪https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085W92425/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_x_3JahFb3WCQHQZ‬

If you want a colour screen, save up for the Tamagotchi On. ‪https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07R3GTNG3/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_x_2f-gFb12MCFHE‬

Unfortunately I don’t know how acquirable those are in China.

Chinese versions don’t exist, because Chinese characters are impractical and too large for such a display (the Japanese versions use kanji very sparingly). This could be solved by using Pinyin, but Bandai Asia prefers to use English instead.

Bandai Japan and Bandai Asia are separate. Bandai Japan creates things in Japanese. Bandai Asia handles localization for the rest of Asia.

I'd say it depends on whether you want a monochrome tama or the more modern color versions. Based on those links you provided it seems you're interested in the modern ones - I personally don't have experience with them but I do recommend checking out other TamaTalk members' logs so that you can compare versions yourself. For example, @Berks is currently logging his Meets and it's very cute!

I can only echo what @Joc says, here - unless you're an experienced collector who specifically wants something weird to add to their collection (some of these bootlegs contain swearing and stolen characters from various franchises), you're better off starting out with a genuine product from Bandai or one of its legitimate competitors (such as Top Secret Toys, who make the GigaPetsAR line).

I will also add that Japanese Tamagotchis, and other Japanese virtual pets, are very easy to navigate - the menus and their functions are simple to learn even if you don't know any Japanese, and this opens up a wider range of products for you to try out.

As an aside, if you need to add something to your previous message, please use the Edit button that's found in the bottom-left corner of your message. It's available for 24 hours after posting, and it means that Guides don't have to merge your posts for you if you need to add something that you forgot. ;)

I don't have experience with any of the modern color tamagotchis, but if you're willing to try one of the monochrome ones I'd say the V4 or Entama might be enjoyable for you. They have more features than the other Connection versions, and they're much cheaper than the modern color ones. You can get the Japanese Entamas on Japan You Want here:

https://japanyouwant.com/product-category/tamagotchi/entama-uratama-tamagotchi

Or the English versions on eBay just by searching for "Tamagotchi V4"

My recommendations may not appeal to you, as I'm pretty sure that I'm one of the older regulars here and I have a preference for the simpler monochrome devices, but here they are regardless;

Tamagotchi Original/The Original Tamagotchi - Remakes of Bandai's original 1996 and 1997 Gen 1 and Gen 2 Tamagotchi virtual pets.

Pac-Man Tamagotchi - A Tamagotchi Nano based on the Pac-Man license, which features various cameos from Pac-Man and the ghosts, as well as two Pac-Man-inspired games.

Tamagotchi On - The English version of the current colour Tamagotchi model. It's known in Japan as the Tamagotchi Meets.

Digimon Original/The Original Digimon - A remake of the original 1997 Digimon virtual pet. Digimon was basically Bandai's rough-and-tough battling equivalent to the Tamagotchi - you can link up two units so that the monsters on them can fight.

Super Gyaoppi (any variant) - A 1990s non-Bandai multi-pet that was sold in several different variants that offer either 8, 9, or 10 different options for creatures to raise.

MGA VR Creatures (any) - These are all 1990s virtual pets that pretty much all play the same, but which have several different animals to choose from. I own and particularly like the penguin one.

As for where to get them from, the Tamagotchi Original, Digimon Original, Pac-Man Tamagotchi, and Tamagotchi On are all available from Amazon.com, which ships to various countries through their global shipping scheme. The rest, you'd have to keep an eye on eBay or the specialist virtual pet store Japan You Want, and then hope for some good luck in finding them!
