Am I Too Old For Tamagotchis?

I've been a Tamagotchi lover since 3rd grade. But now I am in 7th grade and everything changed. I'm all grown up and I was just wondering am I too old for tamagotchis? I sometimes think that I am and if I continue with Tamagotchis it will mess up my carreer to become a veternarian. This is just my opinion. But Tamagotchis are my prized possesion and if I let it go, when I grow up I just might get the job. If I continue with Tamagotchis, then if I don't get the job, what am i supposed to do when I grow up. When I get a job I don't have no time to take care of my Tamagotchis.

And everyday that goes by I am growing up and maturing one step at a time. I just don't know what to choose. Should I stick with Tamagotchis or should I continue my life without them.

I just want your opinion Tamatalkers, please...

you should keep them I'm going into 8th grade in about a month and I still have tamagotchis if you are embarassed about them you could just not take them out in public actually one of my friends love mine she learned about them because of me and if you are worried about your carreer right now you need to take a break once in awhile anyway you are only in 7th grade and remember you will always have time for your tamagotchis

You just have to keep a good balance: School comes WAY before Tamas!

I started using Tamagotchis around 7th grade. I keep my grades up, hang out with my friends and still have time for my Tamas

And all my other pets! I have two birds (who take up a LOT of my time. I have to wake up early in the morning to take care of them, and have to get them out for about an hour in the afternoon) and a dog, and pets are a lot of work, but still have time for my Virtual-Pets

Playing with Tamas wont make you unable to become a vet. Just make sure you keep your priorities in order

You'r never too old for them!! I'm 52, and I still play with them!!! If you don't want to play with them for awhile, remove he batteries & put them ina special place for safe keeping.

Amazing because I started playing Tamagotchi's in the 7th grade.

Since when is age a rule to stop playing something you like.

If you still enjoy it, then continuing play it.

Don't pay more attention to negative things in life, than the positive things in life.

If you don't think Tamas are a good fit for your life at the moment then put them away for a while. If only you knew the vast numbers of people who have contacted me through my website telling me how they sorely regret getting rid of them!! I've had almost 9 years worth of storys!! They all can't believe they got rid of them and miss certain ones very much!!

I am an adult and have been for a long time. There is no age group for these little guys. I played with my first one as an adult. It's actually the adults who can afford to collect them!! I find that sooo ironic.

I bring them to work and play with them in front of every one. They have gotten used to it. It's mostly tough filthy tough but sweet guys. Mechanics, guys with blackened faces from the coal piles, train yard guys all the way to the people in the control rooms. Nobody cares any more. Are you afraid of what people think?

Tamagotchis will not keep you from your goals. They are just little things that distract you for very short periods of time throughout the day.

I'm older then many of you here... in 97' I had an original and never let it go. It was pretty much glued to my side as it still is today... Beside the ovious reasons for putting it down... (Water!)

Lets see 12 years of Tamagotchi (And my other digital pets from my young ages) I see as I'm not too old for them. Sure I may have looked funny with them... But I never cared.

What people are thinking around you shouldn't effect your happiness. Do what you love and be who YOU are. If Tamagotchi are part of you... Then let it fly!
