Always getting the same teens v4.5

On my v4.5, I always seem to get ura young marotchi on the girls and the diamond thing on the guys, which leads to only being able to get the ura mame family adults for the girls and the ura meme adults for the boys. I currently have ura young marotchi. Her father was a celebtchi. I'm really confused with how the whole parent thing works. Could someone explain it to me and tell me what characters I might get from my current character?? Thanks!!!

It depends on skill points. As you can see in this growth chart, when you get Ura Young Marotchi, the funny skill points are higher than all the others. What you can do to combat it is to 1) take it to preschool to get a variety of skill points, or 2) feed them foods that increase the skill point that you want. Chart with these foods is here.

Okay, that makes sense. I guess next time I'll get the other points up. I guess for now though, I'll be stuck with horoyotchi for the thousandth time. -.- Thanks for your help though!! I'd appreciate any other tips also!

Keep in mind, there is some randomness to what teens you get. Unfortunately, it's an imperfect system that leaves tama owners frustrated with the same adults back to back.

Once, out of desperation, I let two of my opposite gendered tamas grow old and mated them so I could break the "cycle of Meme" that I had going on. It sorta reset things as I had two adults from none of the Mame-meme-kuchi families so I was able to control their growths better and have a better chance of encouraging the offspring to be something other than Meme.

I won't swear to it but it seemed to help me get out of the rut.

Hmm I might have to try that sometime. Would it work with a v3 and a v4.5 though? Or do they both have to be v4.5s to break the cycle?

I think it can be a V3 and a V4.5

you will see that the tamagotchi V3 can marry a V4.5

I'm pretty sure that will spice things up and could give you the edge needed to break the cycle

Yes, you can marry a V3 and a V4.5. I've actually done it a few times.

And since both Tamagotchi parents will be oldies, they will each have an Oyajitchi baby. Then marry off this Oyajitchi and it can help break the cycle.

Though I remember getting non-Meme family adults from Meme family teens (the same thing happened with Mame and Kuchi teens, they matured into adults of another family) on my V4.5s. I don't know if this has happened to you or not, but that is what keeps me from always getting the same characters on my V4.5s.

try training different skillpoints, and different amounts of skillpoints, the skillpoints will also decide what adult character it'll become

also,i think the parents determine what adult you get (i read it somewhere, maybe here on tamatalk) example: on the v4.5 : a ura violetchi marries a mametchi, if the baby is a boy, then the baby can become a kutchipatchi, mametchi, or gozarutchi depending on the skillpoints, if the baby is a girl, then the baby can become a memetchi, mimitchi, or violetchi, so the baby can evolve into the adults in the same family of the tamagotchi your tamagotchi got married to
