Hi all!

I hope I'm writing in the right section - I *am* a new tamagotchi owner, but this is more of a curiousity than an actual request of support.

I have recently bought a Tamagotchi V5, and I never altered the time on the clock, because frankly, I think it would be unfair, and besides, I have plenty of time to care for my tama.

But while gaining information on the growing process on this forum, I started wondering... Since you can get different evolutions by treating you tamas differently, if I had a baby tama and shifted the clock to five days in the future, how would this affect my pet?

Would it grow into a neglected tama (Ninja), to an underfed one (Small), or what?

I'm curious because it seems strange to me that, if care affects growth, you can just alter the clock and skip days :)

Thanks for your help and sorry about my bad english (it's not my first language, as I think you've guessed by now ^^)

I often pause my V5 and when I set it to the right date after days of not playing it the age of my tamas do not change. So the tama isn't really affected at all.

Hope that answers your question :)

Yes, that really helped, thank you :)

So... the "pause" (travelling) function actually stops the time, and altering the clock has no effect at all on the development of the tama?

I vaguely remeber someone telling me that the only way to make your tama grow faster is to "fast-farward" it using the clock - but then again, maybe they were wrong, or they were talking about a previous version.

Thanks again!
